DELIVERING THE PAYLOAD - RELEASE DATE 19/07/2010
Delivering the Payload is the second album from Leeds indie-electro experimentalists Pifco.

Steve continues in his jerky, punk fashion to blast out observations on adulthood and local music scene politics whilst lightening the mood with sprightly Rickenbacker riffs. Mary really developed the bands sound when she took to playing keyboards at the same time as drumming. This completely shifted the bands direction and they have now grown to a tidy trio with Richard Morris aka Moz (Quack Quack, Two Minute Noodles, Chops, The Declining Winter) playing additional (small) keyboards. His ultra simplistic style gives the album a brighter overall sound, a fuller set of tunes and some super catchy creations.

"the band hit the gold with every track. a lo-fi synth punk joy, this is what that new devo record should have sounded like!"- Rough Trade

"It’s a glorious, electro-tinged race through the best indie records of 80s and 90s. And, most importantly, it’s just simply great fun." 4/5 - Leeds Guide
